Our black and white darkrooms are set up for tray processing of resin coated and/or fibre based archival prints. There are four black and white enlargers fitted with Ilford 500 Multigrade diffuser light sources, with lenses and negative masks to enable printing of most film formats from 35mm to 5x4. We provide an archival washer and custom built fiberglass mesh racks for air drying archival fibre-based prints. For resin coated prints, we have a drying machine.
We will supply chemistry, easels, grain magnifiers, negative carriers and tongs. You will need to bring your own paper, canned air, loupes and dodging tools. Parallax Photographic is onsite and you can order your paper in advance from them, link is here.
Maximum size prints are 16x20 in the black and white darkroom, 20x24 in the colour darkroom, and 20x24 in the solo black and white darkroom.
